If you don’t have a mermaid tail, you can wear swimming fins and hold them together as you swim! Practice makes perfect.

Oh boy! I figured I’d make a scale out of soapstone, so I could make a stamp to press into clay. But, errr… well it didn’t really work out the way I’d hoped, haha!
Note: I do know that there are many people who have made silicone tails and documented their approach, and I do use those guides gratefully! However, sometimes I just want to try something 😛
Stay tuned though, because that silicone tail IS DEFINITELY getting made and I’ll keep you guys posted!

Since my clownfish mermaid tail is so widely appreciated (thanks for the nice compliments guys) I decided to make another video of it 🙂 I made the tail myself and I’m NEVER making one again… It was so much work =’)
